Amsterdam's a cultural smorgasbord, and our food & beverages reflect that

Amsterdam is like a melting pot of cultures, with around 180 different nationalities. That puts the city up there with the most diverse in the world. Here, you can taste dishes from all corners of the globe. But there's one country whose cuisine is truly unique to Amsterdam. And that is Suriname! Amsterdam have been introduced to dishes like Pom, Roti, and Bara, with new ingredients like Bakkeljauw and spicy Madame Jeanette. And let's not forget about the sweet Fernandes drink! With "The New Amsterdam Classics" theme, our chef Ramon Beuk reinterprets these influences on Amsterdam classics. Our menu combines familiar flavours with new influences, creating a vibrant world cuisine with recognisable dishes with a surprising twist. A true ode to the diversity and culinary identity of Amsterdam. Open your mind and be prepared to be amazed!
